In Q3 2021, the top 5 navigation and maps applications on a unified platform in Hungary showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at the market dynamics for these popular apps.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic from Waze experienced an upward trajectory in weekly downloads, starting from around 8K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately 12.9K by mid-August. However, the downloads gradually declined to around 6.3K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust active user base of around 388K, with a peak of approximately 443K in mid-August, before settling at about 399K towards the end of the quarter.

Google Maps Go by Google LLC showed a mixed trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.9K at the end of June, reaching a high of about 9.7K in late July, and then declining to approximately 4.7K by the end of September.
